Description
Birch Sugar
An excellent sweetener with 40% less calories than sugar, 75% less carbohydrates and lower GI. Excellent for dental health and make your body alkaline. Tastes like sugar, has the same structure and can replace sugar in most recipes except for the use of yeast in baking or for making hard candy.
Too much use of xylitol may have a laxative effect (> 50 g). 1 tsp 4 grams provides about 10 cal.
